This album's version of FOR I AM THE LIGHT has an interesting sample of "All Things Bright and Beautiful," performed to a melody that I am not used to hearing. It adds quite well to the track, and I think it's worth hearing. I also like the burning sounds at the end of the album in HOLY IS THE NAME - a nice touch.
Favorite track: FOR I AM THE LIGHT (AND MINE IS THE ONLY WAY NOW).

Reclaim violence from your abusers. Forge your anger into a weapon of protection. Lingua Ignota speaks for the damned and damaged. May her shrieks forever ring in the mind of man.
Favorite track: ALL BITCHES DIE (BITCHES ALL DIE HERE).

To listen to Kristin Hayter’s work is to receive the vision of a new and cauterizing reckoning, long-overdue. Her synthesis of traditions defined by rigid, patriarchal structure into a gut-wrenching ultimatum for abusers everywhere represents a watershed moment in the culture of extreme music, and music in general.

I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately. spaceman2250
